What is the utility of $WEMIX?

What is WEMIX Token?

$WEMIX is the native coin of WEMIX3.0 with utility and governance functions. It is ERC20-based, which can be used as a medium of exchange and payment method (e.g. gas fee) on the WEMIX mainnet.

$WEMIX was initially deployed on Klaytn, and the token has been converted to $WEMIX coin on the WEMIX3.0 mainnet. The original token is renamed WEMIX Classic.

What is WEMIX Tokenomics?

The initial token supply of $WEMIX on Klaytn is 1,000,000,000. As for now, the $WEMIX token has been converted to $WEMIX coin on the WEMIX3.0 mainnet, and the original token was renamed as WEMIX Classic. The allocation percentage has remained on WEMIX3.0. 10% will be distributed through private sales and utilized in the initial stage of WEMIX growth. 9% will be allocated over three years to WEMIX team members, and the remaining bulk of 81% will be used for marketing and supporting the long-term growth of the ecosystem.

When WEMIX3.0 was launched, (1 billion + alpha) $WEMIX was generated at Genesis. After that, one $WEMIX is newly minted for every block as a reward. Therefore, 86,400 WEMIX coins are created daily.
